Dr. Priscilla Canales has had a career spanning over three decades, dedicated to serving students in the San Antonio, Austin, and Rio Grande Valley regions. From teacher to superintendent, her various roles reflect her deep commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for children. In addition to her roles in public education, Dr. Canales has been actively involved in state, regional, and local committees, contributing her expertise to shaping educational initiatives and policies. Her dedication to service is evident through her involvement over the years on the Board of United Way, the Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum, and Rotary, as well as her recognition as Woman of the Year in Weslaco, Texas for her contributions to students and community.
